I need a better receive antenna for Europe,

but I can only build one
this year (it also has to be low cost). I have to make some decision
about what it should be.
If you have enough space, try to build such a cardioid antenna.
BTW what i wanted to say, your recent images show a very good mechanical work, precise built arrangements and QRO oriented, very well! You won't expect how rare this is, a good mechanical work in combination with beeing active afterwards, not just for a few tests, but regularly.

When I have high static it usually causes some smearing of the
signal on the spectrogram. I didn't see any of that on Jay's
capture. It could be just some problem that is created by my
receiver. I will have to investigate it.
Which software do you use for capturing QRSS-60 on LF?
SpecLab has an internal noise blanker that can be configured to remove as much QRN as possible but leaving as much wanted signal as possible. Not like these HF-TRX noise blankers ('high, mid, low').

I will stay with DFCW60 tonight, but might change to 90 in next
night(s).
