Mal (et al),
Please read my most recent posts on the Yahoo group for my views on moderation.
It is unusual to ban anyone but where a member has been grossly offensive, repeatedly rude and hurtful to others, or consistently off-topic then the moderators have the right (duty even) to delete such posts or even suspend membership. I repeat this is highly unlikely if people are respectful of others and post on-topic without getting personal and offensive.
Now, let's please get back to LF matters and on the Yahoo group where most seem perfectly happy.

How about an apology Eddie and a confirmation from

Well John
When you get G3XBM in a email/posting some time back
indicating that a move to Yahoo would enable more control to ban persons
like me whose opinions and point of view differ from his, this is
hardly encouraging or democratic.
A sysop is necessary to ensure smooth operation of
any organised group but not CENSORSHIP or BANNING.
Come on Mal
I am sure Roger can stick up for himself but please
don't resort to lies.
