Hi John,

In SpecLab there is an option to remove the PPS peak from the signal. So the right channel can be used for a radio signal as well. I didn't use that option so far but at DL0AO they did. Markus may tell you more, or you search in the help files of SpecLab.

Question:

I have a homebrew receiver with I and Q outputs that I built some time ago. It has a 10 MHz input which is divided down to 125 kHz, and my old HP GPS receiver is still working fine.

It would seem that I have two options:

1. Add an image reject filter ahead of the receiver.

2. Ask if there's a way to get Spec Lab to use the I and Q signals AND the 1pps ticks.

Thoughts?
