H Rik that is very sad. After many long discussions on
email I met Dick several times at the RSGB Convention. He was always interesting
to talk to whether it was radio or some of the strange features of the
English language. It was a special treat to meet
him after reading for years his special "nuggets" published by the late Pat
Hawker in Technical Topics.

Dear all,
I just received the message that Dick Rollema, PA0SE,
passed away last Tuesday.
Those who were active on 2200 m in the early days
will certainly remember Dick, not only from his activity on the band but also
from his technical knowlegde.
I believe many of us built his field strength
meter (http://www.wireless.org.uk/pa0se.htm) or did read one
or more of the many articles he wrote on antennas, receivers and
measuring equipment.
