Hi all

I too use a 706mk2g and it works FB on 472.  I can get a good 10/15W out of the PA so prob about 10mw into the ether.

WSPR DX ~ 1000km to DE/FR/IT so well happy and v simple set up

Dell XPS17  - G4ZLP interface – WSPR2.1  - IC706mk2G  - home brew lpf – 20m coax to inverted L 10m/30m with tapped loading coil wound on 4.5” brown plastic pipe.

Works fine for local CW net on Sunday morning covering IO92 and Chas G3DZX also.

My congratulations! So now how do you generate that signal? A Raspi? That could explain the SNR. I guess you will add some 10 dB soon? :-)
Tell us!
