Now CQ on 136.5 CW and no replies. Using a KENT pump key
I got the other day and trying it out, works well so far, well engineered with
a ball race as pivot, similar to another Marconi Marine key that I have. I
normally use an EL-KEYER

There you go , Mal , see these new
qso operators , not quite got the
idea yet , you have to wait for
the other station to stop sending ,
before calling them ...

LF/ MF
I
guess there's still no definitive word from OfCom regarding the new MF
band NOV's (?)
It's
a possibility that the UK will be an MF-free zone over the New Year's
holiday period . .
With
that eventuality in mind I've dusted off my old LF TRX and am at present
transmitting a test signal:
QRSS-3
on 137.69 kHz
I
shall put out a few CQ's tonight on LF and would be overjoyed to receive
any response.
