Nothing
heard on 137.7 kHz so now QSX on 136.5 kHz My apologies if anyone called
and was not answered. The QRM here has increased considerably since I was
last on LF 73 Chris G3XIZ

I can work Moscow on normal CW on LF and MF so
QRSS 60000000000 and Beacon Bashing is not necessary. Things are going
backwards since the bands were first licensed some years ago.
It is difficult to find a CW operator these days on
these bands
Still no reply to my CQ on 136.5

There you go , Mal , see these new
qso operators , not quite got the
idea yet , you have to wait for
the other station to stop sending ,
before calling them ...

I
guess there's still no definitive word from OfCom regarding the new MF
band NOV's (?)
It's
a possibility that the UK will be an MF-free zone over the New Year's
holiday period . .
With
that eventuality in mind I've dusted off my old LF TRX and am at present
transmitting a test signal:
QRSS-3
on 137.69 kHz
I
shall put out a few CQ's tonight on LF and would be overjoyed to receive
any response.
