The majority of radio amateurs including myself are QRL on the other amateur
bands in QSO mode. The Beacon Thrashers on LF es MF are having a public
holiday.
In the early days of LF the band was full of CW acty especially at weekends
and MF to a limited degree was fairly active also CW but at present they
have all dispersed to other amateur bands and can be heard frequently in QSO
mode
18 - 28 Mhz bands are very lively at present with world wide DX the norm
