You've changed his uF to nF. Are the radials insulated ? Are the radials grounded at the 'inboard' end? If insulated and not inboard grounded then: IF a 45' buried wire is series resonant with .047uF

Yes. you have a very low water table. With winter rains however you may get a much wetter bottom (I could have phrased that better ) at the deep end of the wire - especially if it had a wide surface
