Hello Joe,Congratulations for the impressive results from your 10 uW signal. Seems you are having a good start into VLF now. I hope i can see you here one day. My loop is already showing in your direction... With your long wire antenna you should be able to produce 100 uW without much trouble. Try SpecLab and a GPS module for the transmissions. It works very well. Each transmision comes from SpecLab here... 73, Stefan Am 08.05.2017 15:52, schrieb [email protected]: Hi Paul, Markus, Group,The level of expertise on this group is humbling and these results are amazing. The carrier was generated with an undisciplined 10 MHz DOCXOclocking an ad9851. As Markus points out, the maths puts it high by 92.5 uHz. Paul reported a positive offset of 46.3 and the difference canbe explained by a -5.6 ppb error in the reference oscillator. This is consistent with Paul's and Markus' earlier measurements of the 2200msignals being low by a few ppb. It looks like the sigs made it across the pond and we can now start thinking about some EbNaut on VLF.The agreement between Paul's observed and the modelled 0.07fT field strengths is remarkable. The ERP estimate seems to have been a good guess!TX will remain on and phase coherent, pending arcs and ice. 73 and thank-you! If this is VO1NA, we should get a good result if Joe is able to keep the transmitter going and phase-stable until 20:00 UT. -- Paul Nicholson -- |
