Hello Paul, VLF,
Fantastic, again! We made 20 characters! That is the best result so
far. It was your assumption that it takes 2...3 days. The QRN was quite
high on monday so i also thought it will take 3 days.
Oh, i confirm, the message is correct :-)
I also decoded my own message daily, coming from the tree. But i saw
that the decoder seems to have a problem with the character '&',
see attachment. Is it a Windows problem? I was curious to see if you
will get the same result. But on your side the message displayed
correctly...
How accurate are your phase measurements arround an Eb/N0 of -4 dB?
It is a different thing to be 'blind' on the daily transmissions and
just get a decode after days. And since we are not in stress, i would
like to try 40 characters before trying the ultra long 75 character
test which will most likely take longer than a week. Maybe, if the
conds are good, we can expect a decode for 40 characters after 6 days?
So:
f = 6470.00000 Hz
Start time: 23.11.2016 08:00:00 UTC (Daily repetition)
Symbol length: 12 s
Characters: 40
CRC 16
Coding 8K19A
Duration: 7h, 18m, 24s
Antenna current: ~ 280 mA
Maybe, if the weather is good i may use one day to test my large coil
for 2970 Hz. Or maybe even the weekend for a new /p test? I will see.
And i will announce when there will be no transmission.

It needed the sum of three repeats:
Copied 'STEFAN&[email protected]!' Eb/N0 = +0.1 dB
S/N of the combined signal: 21.21 dB in 40.6 uHz
20th: Eb/N0 = -2.3 dB, S/N -59.6 dB in 2500Hz, phase 130.3 deg
21st: Eb/N0 = -5.4 dB, S/N -62.7 dB in 2500Hz, phase 117.9 deg
22nd: Eb/N0 = -4.3 dB, S/N -61.6 dB in 2500Hz, phase 150.6 deg
