Hi all,

I have put a test that I receive stable signal with a packaged RX system varing antenna element configuration.
Signal source is from 594kHz BC 64.7km apart, which is
vertically polarized.
Receiving system consists of MiniWhip , ATT, MF band
AM receiver(Icom IC-R5) and 9V baterry. They all are put in a metalic box for sealding. See attached picture.
Measureing was done by connect or disconnect the receiver
input terminal to antenna element(s) and case-conductor or earth rod.
The result data is written on field-test.pdf file. So, summaries
are:
(1) Best performance in VH5 and VH6
(2) 9dB inferior than vertical element in HH5 and HH6
(3) 2dB inferior since case is isolated in VH2 and VH3
(4) Ground-side element does not effective if RX has some
    capacity between surrounded case
(5) Ground rod have no effect in VL3 and VL6
(6) If I touch my finger with case conductor, performance comes down Thus, G-side element and case work as counterpoise.
