But if the PC simply keys the PTT then how does the program know on 
which frequency i choose on the TX? So i could run any mode on any band,

What distances have been achieved with OP8 so far?

OK, understood. Well, 30% CPU load is very much for my PC since many SL 
instances are running there permanently. But for some alternative 
experiments, some time... I must admit the ease of simply steering the 
PTT sounds good...
