Ok Stefan,
Yes at the moment its 1-4-1 , I think this has been now for some
time , the change to single speed decoding , virtually stopped the
false decodes , all bands are single speed, selectable beacon and qso
mode.
136 is provided with two beacon speeds only , OP8 and OP32 ,
changing mode , changes the frequency band. monitoring is one speed
only .
It is possible to simply run 2 Op sessions , one set to say OP8
and the other OP32 , or for other bands , one set to beacon , the
other qso mode.
CPU loading , from recent posts > Single core 1.7 gig laptop with 2 gig
ram and winxp
(fujitsu siemens lifebook s series) is reported by dg9bfc as running
ok, I find my old P4 3.2 ghz pc shows 25/35% cpu loading .. Eddie
reports his 1.6GHz Atom Processor Sammy Netbook, is running Op no
problems

PS: Is the PC keyed by the RS232 port? Or what? Free choice of the TX line
(TXD or DTR or RXD...) ?

G.., LF,
What is the current up to date opera version? Still v1.4.1?
What about the CPU load, say on a 5...7 year old PC?
