Ah CPU load changes from RX , where the dsp engine is running to TX , where only a sequence is being outputted 25% Rx falls to 5 % during TX or less ....If you are looking to send only , then using the PIC code generator, A simple PIC controlled keying device can be made ...Andy used this for his beacon as dose Eddie for his setup It is possible to set 100% Tx , but there is still a very short 'blip' change over tx/rx at the end of each cycle , this would be the preferred option , if trying for a decode over a 'short' propagation window or attempting to catch 'flash' propagation. As there is no defined start-stop in the data pattern , a decode is possible with 50% of the data , 120 seconds in OP4 and 15 Mins in OP32 , randomly distributed. G.., LF, What is the current up to date opera version? Still v1.4.1? What about the CPU load, say on a 5...7 year old PC? 73, Stefan/DK7FC |
