Jurgen
I have also been told if you go to Church in Germany you must PAY and have
no option, the money is deducted from your pay. In the UK its a free
offering.
Strayed a bit from LF info.

I envy you Brits living in the land of liberty !!
We have to pay when
- there's a TV or radio in the house, no matter if it's connected or not
- there's a PC connected to internet
- have to pay a 2nd fee if the (same) PC is used for business
- every company has to pay radio fee for each division if there's
a PC connected to internet
- every car radio when used for business
- every vacation home
- every garden shack with radio / TV if it's more than 1km from your house
- hotels, hospitals etc, even when the viewer cannot simultanously
can't wath at home
It's a total rip off and the organisation collecting it (called GEZ) has
enormous power and gets data from your community. They immediately got
informed
when I moved house.
