So what can be done in order to improve sensitivity for this rig FT -847 ?
Any hints welcome ( using also G0mrf pre- amp - derviate )
 
 
 I also tried the G0MRF preamp in front of a Yaesu FT847 but the 847 is so deaf on 137Khz. that the gain of the pre-amp is insufficient which is a pity as the receiver of the 847 is doing a fair job with the built in 500Hz Mech. filter in combination with  the adjustable bandwith control in the LF DSP  on the HF bands .
