I think you are talking about QRS I am talking CW, Did u ever listen on CW? MM0ALM was the strongest signal from anywhere world wide at the time obviously Dex you were not around on LF at the time or

Dex Maybe not at ur QTH but certainly around the Boston area and Canada some years back. MM0ALM was the strongest signal from the UK and at that time signals from the rest of EU were generally weak.

I had a QSO with EW6GB years ago You cannot hear me, or anyone else on CW with your micro ferrite rod. Beacon mode especially QRS 60 - 6000 is so easy but QSO CW needs an expert. To answer your quest

Well I had an aural report from VE1ZZ and he certainly copied MM0ALM on CW in fact they might have had a CW qso but it is so long ago it is now history, another stn that copied us was NC1K and a AA1
