Hi Mike - its very variable night to night - but Id say after 0200z till your pre dawn - Last night it dropped dead at 0400z with DCF39 and didnt really recover This morning was the first in many man
Mongolias LF transmitter was a monster noise maker and made my LF listening problematic - but I was stationed on an old army barracks just a few tens of miles away from the site - some times somethin
Not sure but this decoded - cant see any parallel times decoding on Opera live - just after my dawn yesterday =- don't think its "real" <?> Especially given magsol over the past 48 hours, but strange
Laurence, UW8SM is usually a strong signal here but no indication of a transmission at that time and frequency, so almost certainly a false positive. Opds detections with correlation marginally above
Im hoping that with lower flux in the coming years it will be possible - certainly a few Eu stations have made to the far East coast of China (and further South) in past years so I think even with re
Good signal here - about 10-15dB over noise in 100Hz - but QRN is pretty high Laurence KL7L Alaska > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Wed, 24 Dec 2014 08:44:52 +0100 > S
Glad you could hear it Costas :0-) Here is the tuning sequence just prior to message at 0800Z from here - QRN made a little mess of the message.,.... http://kl7l.com/SAQDEC242014.jpg 08Z is a little
Heres a "marine animal" style picture of the VLF Short/Long path NWC interference pattern taken back in April that Markus talks about = http://kl7l.com/NWCJelly.jpg No chance of seeing any such even
Makes a great wall picture - Kudos to Markus On Dec 29, 2014, at 1:57 PM, "edgar" <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Laurence, Brilliant. Thank you for the image. Regards, Edgar Moonah,
Nice signals from VE7BDQ on a poor band last night - pretty good seeing as the MF tx was bashing out CW too. "Left hand" radio did better than the right on Normal Opera Op32 decodes for some reason,
Decoding you early on OP32ds -John - Signals from DCF39 Eu over the Pole are getting to QRSS/Op32 levels @ 0300z - figure that one out with the K=high=tin hat here and Aurora alerts and a lot of spre
Anybody running at the moment - ? GPS locked L400b - looks like its been "on" since 9th 06z or before - I do have a stronger carrier on 8270,04 but think that's local http://kl7l.com/8270.jpg Laurenc
Thanks Alex Thought Id take a look at how 475kHz did over the past 20hours or so - WSPR2 only - distances 1000Kms and up - High lat conditions were poor over this side, especially in my bigger pond .
Im going to join John XIQ - Ill be on DFCW12 on 475.495 Dash high 2Hz delta "XPQ" 250W POWER - use spec lab or Argo QRSS 10 slow for decode - until Ak dawn Hope this is ok - Laurence KL7L Alaska BP51
Morning Chaps and Chappesses Good copy here over the Pole - the QRN levels were quite high but tight use of the Noise blanking on Speclabs helped a lot - better sigs than the Christmas broadcast. Tun
http://kl7l.com/LF17thFeb2015.jpg Im pretty sure this is JA1CGM but QRN was, and still is, a little wicked over night as can be seen on the Red bar incursion on the left of the capture - Any other ta
