Hi Jay,

I have limited experience, but that is consistent with my
observations to date. The only consistent amateur signal from across
the pond has been 2E0ILY, who I often decode on WSPR2 before sunset
with a subsequent fade (and usually later reappearance). DCF39 and
HGA22 often peak just before or just after sunset. My band view
waterfall is set wide enough to encompass both of them. They do make
interesting relative propagation indicators.

I started seeing Stefan's DFCW today more than 30 minutes before sunset.
