Vincent, my antenna is looking like this: http://jpmere.online.fr/L_F/Les%20LF.htm because it was designed for 74kHz and 137kHz.If you listening only on 630m adding a few meters wire to the original design may be enough. Important is you are hearing external noise and not the noise floor of the receiver. The antenna is only working with length of wire up to lambda/4. Which is important if you would like to use the antenna on 160m and 80m too. A tuned transmitting antenna close to the loop may destroy the pattern of the loop. 73 Hartmut |
