Hello Mal, Saturday, November 14, 2015 Well, I was warned that I was being a cheapskate making the rectifier board out of Tufnol, but did I listen? 5kV and Tufnol and a months operation = *big* bang and small fire... I rebuilt it on decent board, then a pal dropped me of some proper stick rectifiers, so I used those and kept my multi 6A10 diode board for a future project. Perhaps for a nice little linear PSU for my U3 ;) http://www.chriswilson.tv/rectifiers.zip > Beware > It sounds like an Electric chair you are > Building ------one zap and u are gone!!! > G3kev -- Best regards, Chris 2E0ILY mailto:chris@chriswilson.tv |
