It appears when G4CFY writes he attracts a lot of comments/technical
critiques' on his views ( I looked at a back copy). Still as we know from
this forum lively debate is something that isnt lacking at times and is very
healthy (cough..) - I just cant stand the pooh poohing of the band as even
with backyard tx loops the results can be illuminating (and not just the
kitchen flouri tubes either)
He should be pointed to the YXM, 6RU XBM XDV and others for what has been achieved and possible. 600 mile ground wave CW audible signal levels from a mobile rx set up isnt useless in my view. But there again Im highly biased :-) into Class AA... ps Likely Ill be in the UK in Oct and mobile rx on 137/500 Laurence KL7 L et al Rainy Alaska with snow on the hills |
