how is  Stefan  generating   rtty  , is there  a  mixer involved  ?

I'm using the same mixer as for WSPR. It is an DC upconverter using a NE612. LO = 1843.2 kHz / 4.
I'm generating (and decoding) RTTY with fldigi software. However the output frequency is < 3 kHz so i have to feed this to SpecLab (via VAC) and add 15.9 kHz there. The output is fed to the mixer which drives the PA directly...
