All NOV'S issued over the years are effective from the
issue date in this case 20th December
I have several going back years for IE 50 Mhz, 5 Mhz, 500
Khz, 137 Khz, 73 Khz and HF Kilowatt permit.
These were all effective from the date of issue, so why
would this one be different.

Important note
Please note that the 5MHz and 472-479kHz NoVs can be applied for at any
time but do not come into effect until 1 January 2013.
Copied from the RSGB NOV page...

WHAT? Mal, does that mean you can transmit on the new band
from now on? Do we want to make a sked in CW? I don't expect to
hear you here in central DL in daytime but the evening starts early these
days. I'prepare the TX and resonate to MF! 73, CUL,

Hi all MF
Nov received successfully for 472 from RSGB/OFCOM
and dated from today 20th December - 2012 until 20th December
2017.
I take this to be effective from now and not wait
until 1st january 2013.
There is no mention of January 1st
2013
