Strange, I've didn't get any more valid
decodes of DK7FC since about 19:00, even though the 5W signal is strong and
persistent, and there are high sync numbers for each active slot. Tried both
r2695 and r2698 versions but no difference in that respect.
Attached is a comparison of two spectrograms, made
from wavs of high-power DK7FC transmissions this afternoon. The top one is the
16:54 UT slot which failed, versus 16:58 at bottom which decoded alright.
Even though the contents should be the same there seem to be slight differences.
In both, some of the frequency steps seem to be a bit distorted, with small
phase or frequency jumps where there should be flat tops. Spectrogram scales are
200 ms and 0.732 Hz / pix.
Hope this may be helpful...

Hi Joe, LF,
thanks for all this work!
DK7FC was still decoding sporadically here, but DF2JP not at all this
evening, though I could clearly see the two traces side by side. Looks like there is always only one decode per time
slot?
To possibly aid debugging, I have uploaded six wavs
to
along with a text log indicating successful and
failed decodes. "Dial frequency" of my grabber RX is fixed at 135.5 kHz, and the
decoder was centered on 1930 Hz.
Unlike WSPR, the nominal frequency appears to
be not the center but the lower edge of the transmitted band. This is
also apparent in the screenshot in the quickstart guide.
For some reason, at the end of each transmission
there occurs a short "burp", consisting of a two tone burst approximately +- 23
Hz from the nominal frequency.

Despite the fact that DK7FC produces
a much stronger trace DF2JP gets better
decodes.

Still many more decodes from DK7FC, even though
stronger, than from DF2JP.
Excuses, that should have
read: ... less decodes from DK7FC, even through stronger than
DF2JP.. Actually, now each of DF2JP's overs is decoded, but (almost) none
from Stefan even though his signal is still stronger in JO42 .
