Hi Stefan,
In principle, SL can send and received compressed audio (using
Ogg/Vorbis) through a raw TCP/IP connection. This is what we use
on VLF to feed audio to Paul Nicholson's site. But I wouldn't call
this an audio web stream; it's just a point-to-point connection
which needs an external 'broadcaster' to spread it to multiple
listeners. In analog radio terms, SL can only act as the 'feeder',
but not a powerful 'broadcaster'.
Cheers,
Wolf .

OK Wolf,
Due to the update of JT9, i will run JT9-1 on LF as soon as my
current
DFCW-180 transmission is finished.
Let us continue another day on MF.
BTW /p in Bavaria: Is it possible in the most up to date version
of SL
to arrange an audio web stream? For example, can i directly listen
to
CW on MF like in Twente WEB SDR (without additional software) or
can i
pass the audio stream to another PC that generates the
spectrograms by
running several instances of SL? I'm still using SL V2.76b18...

Hi Stefan,
Unfortunately not tonight; I'm back home now and will be /p in
Bavaria
(JN58QS or so :-) the next days, and need to prepare some
stuff for
that trip. At least, a small SDR will be in the suitcase..
Cheers,
Wolf .

MF, Wolf,
DF0WD on MF? Are you on MF right now?
I thought about joining in soon.
Will you be there then?
472.5 CW?
20 UTC?

Hi Pete,
Mmmh, let's keep fingers crossed so this 'burst' of
activity doesn't
turn into a supernova, very bright initially, but rapidly
decaying
afterwards...
73 and hope to catch you soon,
