Yes there are lots of signals in the shadow's of the 'Neon Light's' hihi

You can check activity on the psk reporting system http://pskreporter.info/pskmap.html#
mode by mode

One of the modes may have something to sing about , when it comes to numbers of users ?

wspr is in use , but looks in a 24 hour slot to be 500Khz in the EU , may be in the USA / JA on 136

Opera , (designed to be user/hardware friendly - not need for web time or gps frequency locking) is giving good results from quite simple stations , both TX and RX

Reception requires only dial set 136Khz , mode USB , no narrow filtering is required , at the moment, to monitor OP8 and OP32 , you need to run '2' sessions , one set 8 the other 32. report web linking is part of the system, as is a text chat , user to user.

Hi,

what is the better digital mode for starting listening 137 KHz band as "reverse beacon" (no TX)??
("better" = greater number of active stations in Europe)

WSPR ?? LENTUS ?? OPERA ??

what frequency is utilized for those modes ???

thanks in advance to all ..

P.S.: my RX station is : PA0RDT 8 meters over the roof, RACALL 1792 .. not great station at all .. in QRSS mode the only station what I can receive is the "broadcast (HI!)" beacon of Stefan DK7FC .. NO OTHER ...
