Yes, and if more peolple joined it might come down, and all the behind the scenes stuff could go ahead.

But instead members get upset leave over little local issues. (I nearly did it once myself some years ago, but saw sense in time)

Locally we have also over the years had many problems with the RSGB over repeater licences. For instance, some of their requirements for our ATV repeater could not be met - they were only suitable for 'phone repeaters - and the endless delays...
