I am a bit perturbed myself...After being advised by the software that a new
version was available,
and I needed to download it, I did so... at around 9 pm my local time.. I
thought I would give it a run
on 160 meters, and had 1 station decode my signal, then nothing... I was
running 40 watts to the Ae
Something didn't seem right, but alas; I set it for 10 watts and went to bed
only to get up, and see
messages from other operators, telling me I needed to upgrade my software
because the newversion
didn't have OP3 in it..... In less than 11 hours, there was an incompatable
upgrade....So for me, it
turned out to be a completely wasted night of RF....Make changes; bench test
it... Make more changes,
bench test it some more.... Make sure that the next upgrade is " A Major One "

Subject: LF: Opera continuous changes

Just after I'd spent yesterday morning reprogramming the PIC code,
re-writing the documentation and uploading to website for general
access, the coding has been changed again.

That's it. I'm not changing again until something has stabilised.
The version posted only yesterday will now be removed, and not
replaced for the time being.
If you want an independent PIC based source, you're on your own

If fundamental changes are going to me made like this, please at least
warn us in advance.

Andy
