Hello Scot,
Regarding propagation EU / VE7, I have 3 NDB's from British Columbia in my
log:
Date UTC kHz Call Hz Lower/Upper ID Cntry km Station
11-11-2009 04:42 368.0 SX 400 368.407 / + 400 CAN BC 7364 Skookum
(Cranbrook)
12-11-2009 04:14 400.0 QQ 400 400.410 / + 400 CAN BC
7745 Comox
18-11-2009 06:53 382.0 YE 400 382.398 / + 400 CAN BC
6853 Fort Nelson
These were heard using aural copy of the CW ID in an audio bandwidth of 12
Hz.
SX-368 is listed as 500 W, YE-382 as 100 W and the power of QQ-400 is
unknown.
These were all heard in November and this agrees with experiences on 160.
This is a difficult path for sure; in Europe, SX-368 has only been heard
in the Netherlands, QQ-400 in Germany and the Netherlands and YE-382 in
Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland and Sweden.
The frequencies are somewhat in between 137 kHz and 500 kHz.
The stations were heard on a PERSEUS SDR; the antenna was a voltage probe.
73,
