I will give it some thought. I have worked VE7 es W6/W7 es
KL7 stations on 160metres CW over the years during the winter
months.
so like you say it is likely that it can be done on 500
and possibly 137.
If someone else beats me to the post so be it !!
On 160 metres the optimum time was coming up to my
sunrise. I have also worked on CW ZL es KH6 plus others in the
past.
My 160 antenna is 3/8 wave inv L up over 100 ft vertical
and my 600 metre antenna is 1/4 wave at the same height.

We await the viability of the path to be demonstrated at amateur
power levels.
As DCF39 becomes VERY audible at times (typically
best in Nov) it is possible that an amateur QRSS/DFCW signal could make it
over here...
