Dear Mal, LF Group,Yes, I'm still active on 136k. Re-locating my shack has taken rather longer than I hoped, but it is more or less in usable condition now. The freq area 136.177 seems to be a problem in the USA from QRM, maybe the old freq of 136.318 would be better and why was it changed? At this location, 136.177kHz seems to be a better frequency for reception of Eu stations due to lower sideband QRM from HGA22. You would have to ask the VE and W stations what it is like on the other side of the Atlantic. Cheers, Jim Moritz73 de M0BMU |
