Thank you for your help with my SpecLab. I was not sure how to set up the MSK lock. The config I was using stated MSK lock in the config name but it seems it was set for one which is very weak here & due to the 9kHz filter in the M0BMU pre-amp.

I have set mine up using GBZ as it is quite strong & the results are shown in the attached file, you can also look at the 9kHz grabber again.

The fading to black was the battery depleted, now replaced with fully recharged one.

Well, i see an offset of the Alpha trace by about 20 mHz, so your SL session is not locked to a reference signal. Furthermore the Alpha trace is suddenly disappearing. Why? There was no temporarely shut down of the Alphas tonight. The two dashes in the frequency range of interest disappear at about the same time when the Alpha trace disappears. I would assume the dashes are local noise but i cannot be sure of course.

Officially, just OE5ODL is transmitting on the Dreamers Band today. You can check his and my grabber ( http://www.langwelle.at/ ) to compare times and frequencies. My grabber is locked to GPS if the displayed Alpha trace appears at 11904.7619 Hz.
Especially on 1 mHz and below it is recommended to have a stable RX. So you may control if your SL session is locked to the choosen reference, e.g. GQD/22.1 kHz (see attachment).

Comparing with the other grabbers they don't seem to match a time-scale for visible traces there but are very close to the announced frequencies of the Austrian operators.

Would you please look at my 9kHz grabber & tell me if they are genuine traces from a known 8.970kHz test or otherwise.

I note that the traces appear at the same time as an increase in noise & a peak in the Alpha signal.

Congratulations! 699km in 3.8 mHz (suitable for DFCW-600) is surely a new record for a fixed installed antenna on VLF by amateurs! Maybe 4X1RF could try to receive in "6000" as well?:-)
