Hi Wolf

Hams 4 Hams .com have 15 and 20m fiberglass telescopic poles, that would
make a good vertical element

With best regards

Jim

Subject: LF: move from loop to loaded aerial

Hello group !

After all the efforts, with a reasonable large loop, seem to be to no avail,
I am going to move to a loaded radiator. Either vertical or longwire. A
radiator with a relatively small active length should more or less have a
spherical pattern. Hence the geometrical orientation, may it be vertical or
horizontal, should not have a big effect on the spherical pattern. Is this
assumption rite or not ?

A horizontal span could be easier be longer than a vertical one.

I am not talking about a large structure like Stefan`s kite, I am talking
about a more "average ham`s "-antenna like a 25m vertical, which can stay
put for frequent testing and experiments. Any ideas about this ?
