Hello Mike,
just one thing to keep in mind: a transformer with a voltage ratio of about 430
(300/0.7) will also act as a 1 to 185000 impedance transformer. As a result the
slightest resistive load at the HV side (eg. a 1 Meg Ohm resistor across the HV
side) will probably do collapse the output voltage.

Hi Stefan,
How many turns should I wind for a primary side? 8 to 10 maybe?
I was using a 48.4 milli-henry primary winding with the secondary at
4.2 henry. There are many primary windings on this transformer but this
48.4 milli-henry winding gave me the highest output voltage on the
secondary. 300v p-p with only .7v p-p input.
