Greetings all,

Just getting ready for a field trip and checked the mail again:

Hello Nicolas, Dreamers,
Just start with DFCW-600 on 8,79000 kHz.

Really 8.790 kHz now, or center frequency again at 8.970 kHz as in the last test ? Markus, can you confirm the frequency ? Guess the latter is the right frequency, since Markus' spectrogram is also centered on 8970 Hz, not 8790 :

I will leave my VLF stream (via Paul's server) running from home for a some time, see http://abelian.org/vlf/ Not sure if I will have internet access at the remote site to check it, and not even sure if the compression (which is involved in the audio streaming) will leave such signals intact. Anyway, we'll see.

73,
Wolf - DL4YHF/p from JO42FD or JO42FC soon (depending on the noise level found at various sites) .

I will modify my DDS-VFO to make a 50mHz shift. So, a dot will be 10 minutes!
The last transmission was in QRSS120, so a dash is 6 minutes. This was a little short on Pauls' grabber. Therefore i plan to transmit one or two times "K" without gaps between the dots. So each "K" will take 30 minutes! If everything is recorded at Paul's side (and hopefully others as well), i will change to DFCW-120 or DFCW-60, trying to transmit a message on Markus' grabber. Since it is an experiment, there might come up some problems. I just want to repeat that since each /p acty can cause simple problems that canceles the whole operation (e.g. forget the radials, or fuel for the generator or or or)... Just that nobody is disapointed. But as you know, i am optimistic! ;-) 73, Stefan PS: It is planned to stay in phone contact with Markus/DF6NM. So, if you (and others) have wishes for tests, just write it here! Maybe i should buy a mobile internet stick... ________________________________

Hello Stephan, what's your speed on VLF ? QRSS30 or QRSS60 ?

  Dear Dreamers,
The wind forecast is excellent for this weekend! http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/frankfurt and no rain... So, probably, but still not sure, i will be QRV again on Sunday the 21. March. I will start in the morning and try to be QRV about 11UTC! Maybe i come up with 3dB more ERP if i can built the new PA in one evening (saturday). I will stay in contact with Markus/DF6NM who could make QSP to the reflector. And i will inform you on saturday evening if i come up on sunday! 73 es cu there down :-) Stefan/DK7FC PS: Let's try TA with a LONG carrier :-) *dreaming*
