Dear LF,

just talked to Stefan, and he said he will start a little later than expected, probably sometime after 13:00 UT. He also confirmed that the frequency will be 8970 (not 8790) Hz.

Best wishes, and keeping fingers crossed...

Markus

Greetings all,

Just getting ready for a field trip and checked the mail again:

Really 8.790 kHz now, or center frequency again at 8.970 kHz as in the
last test ? Markus, can you confirm the frequency ? Guess the latter is
the right frequency, since Markus' spectrogram is also centered on 8970
Hz, not 8790 :

I will leave my VLF stream (via Paul's server) running from home for a
some time, see http://abelian.org/vlf/
Not sure if I will have internet access at the remote site to check it,
and not even sure if the compression (which is involved in the audio
streaming) will leave such signals intact. Anyway, we'll see.

level found at various sites) .
