Aahh! But the Belgians further complicate matters by designing beers
whose individual character may be best suited to any one of the number
of courses that comprise a fine dining experience at dinner. I've
certainly enjoyed a six course meal in the Ardennes during which a
different beer was served with each course in addition to a beer
aperitif and a further couple of small ones before departing to bed!
We may, therefore, suppose that S/N ratios might depend on the number of
samples, their frequency and relative signal strengths. The condition of
the observer should,probably, also be taken into account!
