I tend to agree with Rik, the best beers I ever drank were those in La Grande 
Place
in Bruxelles, many years ago, when I was there for QRL.
I remember a three-story building facing directly the Place, where you could 
taste
all kind of Trappiste beers... I spent there many evenings...  though I did not 
think
to perform a measurement in dBs of the SNR with respect to beers coming from 
the Amstel river :-)
