These are very impressive results Mal - well done. I expect you've put a great deal of work in optimising your station and antennas over the years and we all could learn a good deal from your experience.  I have a LOT to learn at this end of the spectrum, but that is half the fun.

Best regards

I was getting 579 from BOSTON/USA from NC1K on 137 khz over the years on CW which I thought was good using simple equipment like a manual morse key, home built mosfet class D TX/PA and an inv L antenna, also regular QSO'S with Russian stations. I am able to do the same on 500 KCS. I am surprised you have difficulty with my signal, I expect the problem is your end.
NC1K was a professional CW operator (Radio Officer) unfortunately now silent key.

Roger I am stating the facts, someone else mentioned seeing the signals
on the waterfall but they were not decoding. I could easlily have made a
qso on cw given the strength of signals whereas WSPR was not decoding, so
the exercise is pointless.

That was me.  I wasn't decoding because I don't yet have a decoder.  Had I had one, and given the snr I observed, I would have expected 100% copy.  On the few occasions I have heard Mal, his snr has not been anything like as good as WSPR.
