Hi Andy,
Have hunted through the Oxford Dictionary of quotations, Brewer,
& several lesser known works over the years and not managed to find that
wonderful aphorism, but somewhere in the back of my mind I am sure that we
had it impressed on us in Latin class (about 1942 that must have
been).Therefore I am also very keen to find its origins!
