Hi Dave, LF, I get about 25% decode from Graham G0NBD who is about 35-40 miles from me, all weaker signals decode OK. As it is a weak signal mode the stronger signals must be a cause of non-decodes.
I have just been doing some more tests on 30m. Clock errors might well have been part of the problem. Initially on 30m the few decodes I was seeing were showing a DT of over 3s, so I had a play with
Dave, Looks to be the same problem I had at the end of last year with a delta-4 pci sound card , the card worked fine for data modesand did not need to have a clock adjustment, however it produced so

Hi John, Im just happy the thing is working tonight, with no 10 hz steps in the frequency , must admit I forgot to change the power level , it was 10 watts at the end of last nights run , but tx powe
OK, it looks as if the sound card clock synch error is the problem. As suggested I have been trying recording for the first minute of each period then stopping - by the simple expedient of switching

Dave, I think the signal level V signal quality may be a major factor, Gary is quite close to me and as he mentioned doesn't always decode my signal, contrary and oddly my off line monitor (ft897 wit
