OK, it looks as if the sound card clock synch error is the problem. As
suggested I have been trying recording for the first minute of each
period then stopping - by the simple expedient of switching the K2 to a
different band. Result, solid copy.....

1958 16 2.5 0.503972 0 M0BMU IO91 37
2000 16 2.4 0.503972 0 M0BMU IO91 37
2002 16 2.6 0.503972 0 M0BMU IO91 37
2006 -26 6.2 0.503965 0 M0BMU IO91 37
2006 16 2.6 0.503972 0 000AAA (BadMsg)
2008 12 2.5 0.503972 0 M0BMU IO91 37
2010 11 2.7 0.503971 0 M0BMU IO91 37

(apart from something went a bit wrong at 2006... And note the +16dB,
you are strong!).

I can see a couple of other weak traces on the spectrogram but no copy
of others.

(and having now stopped doing that tedious turning off after 1 minute I
now see that it is copying Jim solidly now on full cycles. Maybe you
did something your end Jim?.....)
