Walter I've put my secondary grabber onto your frequency to give some correlation for anyone looking stateside. It's using the drifty old IC735 so don't take too much notice of the calibration! http:
Yes Hartmut I was a bit surprised about that too! Some symbol crept into the TX buffer... I was testing my "linear" TX driven by IC735. I have now put the IC735 in an oven to try and stop it drifting
And lots of European ones at http://www.wireless.org.uk/gallery/gallerlf.htm Including mine... (I have tidied up a bit since!) 73 Dave G3YXM Lots of U.S./Canadian stuff at: http://w4dex.com/gallery/L
Dear all. Big mess in the middle of the band tonight. I assume that's CFH loud, proud and wide? The grabber is on: http://www.wireless.org.uk/grab Dave G3YXM JPEG image

Dick Have a look at http://www.wireless.org.uk/ropex.htm I put a pi network (LPF) in between and it worked. Dave G3YXM. --Original Message-- From: [email protected] [mailto:owner-rsg
The puzzle is why the Ropex has problems with a 50 ohm match at 136kHz if the coil is grounded? The match is the same on an SWR bridge whether the pi cct is in circuit or not. The Ropex protection cc
Nothing seen of HF75ZPK until very late. The grabber snagged a M to O copy of a CQ in 10sec QRSS at about 0100 this morning. Unfortunatley I didn't get into the shack until 0200.... 73 Dave G3YXM --O
Oh dear Jay.. This message tripped the Spam filter at my ISP (note the [SPAM] in the subject line). First time I've had it do that on a reflector posting maybe the subject line is too esoteric for it
Marcus and group (especially Wolf) Thanks for your patience whilst I struggled to get Wolf GUI set up! I had literally just unzipped it and ran it into the TX and I saw your signal come back on the w
Dear all. Well I seem to have this Wolf stuff cracked now. Copied WD2XES well last night and the TX is working OK too. If anyone would like a Wolf beacon signal to check their receive setup let me kn

John and co. I'll run it overnight on 137.422 then at 300W or so. Let's hope conditions are still OK Dave G3YXM Dave, I'm willing to give it a try. What frequency would be good for you? The 137.441 k
About 2200 gmt I think. I've left the gear on all day so it shouldn't drift! Dave G3YXM --Original Message-- Dave, What time will you start transmitting? (Sorted out the calibration of my sound card,
Hi Dmitry Yes the Wolf signal doesn't show up well on Argo as the energy is distributed over about 10Hz. I just looks like a fuzzy band of noise. Signal was about 6dB down on my usual level. Dave G3Y
Is there a lower slot? I don't want to annoy all those nocturnal CW operators... Dave G3YXM Upon further reflection, it would make sense to move the EU to NA WOLF transmissions down to the lower end
OK John. I'll set it up for 136.082 if the storms have abated your side. Dave G3YXM --Original Message-- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf
G3YXM is running a 300W Wolf signal (about 200mW ERP) on 136.082 tonight. Hopefully it'll stay on the air until about 0600 utc. Reports welcome! Dave G3YXM
