New Zealand has the band from 130kHz to 190kHz. No one over here is using it at present though, as current activity is centered around the 630m band. We have 5w EIRP for LF and 25w EIRP for 630m, tho
25 watts EIRP allowed here in New Zealand, but that is because we are a long way from anywhere! 73 Con, ZL2AFP On 11/01/2016 4:36 a.m., Rik Strobbe wrote: Hi Markus, not everywhere! The outcome o
Here in ZL we have been using 472.5 kHz USB dial frequency to keep away from an AM broadcast intermod product on 477 kHz that affects reception of a Wellington station, but 474.0 kHZ USB sounds like
Hi Hugh I am also transmitting now, at 10 minute intervals, on dial frequency 474.0kHz USB. The grey line is well and truly passed by now but you never know! 73 Con On 27/11/2017 11:14 p.m., dhchurch
Hi Luis I hope you have fun with the new mode. If you or anyone has any ideas to improve WSQCall, please let me know. Already I understand split frequency working would be useful over there. Here in
Hi Folks I am seeing traces of a QRSS30 signal here on the east coast of New Zealand. My receiver is not calibrated (a V3 RTL dongle which reads 1.5Hz high) but it seems the signal is about 2Hz low (
Hello folks, I am new to the group and have been following with great interest the VLF experiments. Congratulations to Stefan on such great DX (1000+km). This is really good stuff. I have noticed in
This is most interesting. I wonder if they do this sort of thing often, for maintenance perhaps. At 25dB down they are pretty much below the noise floor here. I use a Wndel&Golterman SLM, modified to
I will certainly be on the look out for any such signals. My active antenna starts to roll off below 10kHz so sensitivity will be down a bit but it is good for anything above 10kHz. I am in the subur
Folks Murray ZL1BPU currently cannot post from his e-mail address so has asked me to forward this on to the Group. 73 Con Con, Since I can't currently post to the LF Reflector, could you forward this
Folks The 15.1kHz signal is visible and audible down here (ZL) as well. It is the second-strongest signal on VLF after NWC which is a 1000kW station in Australia. So it must be a monster! It is 10dB
