Hi all,

I have asked this question early in 2017 & I now hope to find some real confirmation as web sites seem to contradict the answers. I did receive one reply & some details at that time.

I now have an Icom IC-706 (not Mk2 or Mk3) & would like to modify it toTx on MF 477kHz.

Is there someone out there who has carried out this mod & can confirm and/or advise that it can be done (or otherwise).

Thanks for reading.

73 Gary - G4WGT.
