seems to be a X10 flare, it has been a while that we had such a strong flare

Very interesting. It also affects VLF! Clearly visible e.g. at http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html
It happens since about 9 UTC.
Would have been interesting to observe the propagation on 8.27 kHz during that time...
