Hi all,

The cheap ublox GPS modules are used by many LF amateurs as a 1 PPS reference signal source. I see there are NEO-7M modules available at amazon, relatively cheap.

Is there any improvement of the Neo-7M over the Neo-6M? I had a look on the data sheets but can't find improvements on the stability or sensitivity, just the power consumption is lower for the 7M, about 60 mW less. That's 0.12 Ah per day when running on a '12 V' accu and a good DC/DC converter.
