Thanks   Andy,   and   thanks  Rik,  excellent  info  and  link,  much
appreciated.  I  may  initially  keep  the vertical well away from the
mast,  but  future ergonomics would be helped by bringing it nearer to
the mast. For now, when my pulleys arrive, I will see what raising the
corner  of  the  existing  loop and heightening the vertical add to my
signal. Cheers.
